Brand New ... Portland, Oregon Family Portraits

I got an email this week that baby Ainsley was born and in need of some newborn portraits.  What a joy it was to show up to her beautiful home and hang out with her awesome parents who are absolutely in that "first-baby-love-gush-bonding" time and oh, it pulls on the heart strings a bit!  Big brother Ollie was there also to oversee everything and make sure I didn't make the wrong move, he stood guard but was so sweet!

I love doing in-home lifestyle newborn sessions these days instead of "studio posed" sessions.  To me, there is no better representation of your newborn baby than being at home with their blankets, stuffy's and decor.  Not to mention, it is so much more comfortable for mom and dad to just open the door to me coming in instead of packing up a ton of things and heading to a studio.  This truly was just as relaxing as it looks and I want to thank Aika and Kevin for having me.
